Newgrounds.com — Everything, By Everyone.

Newgrounds hosts a pretty good system for filtering content using user voting experience and blam/save points. It would neat to see other platforms, like Youtube, try and adopt a similar approach. It would not have to be across the entire platform - it could be under a section of the platform such as a user moderated channel.

On a side note: I believe its implicit that Newgrounds is actually quite selective even though it endorses "Everything, by Everyone". Which is fine. There is an awful lot of crap floating around on the world wide web.
